After 4 years of trying, we finally were able to go on our Hot Air Balloon ride! For as long as I can remember I have wanted to go on a balloon ride. It seemed like an incredible thing to try, and like something out of a movie, which is always a good thing for me. Adam didn't know this and when we got engaged, he had actually planned to go on one, but the weather didn't cooperate (but it definitely didn't put a damper on the engagement day!) So we have tried several times to reschedule with the rain and wind stopping us each time. Luckily we were able to get it in before we leave for New Hampshire!
A few things that I was surprised by:
-my reaction to actually riding in a wicker basket...I was a bit nervous about that, but it really was the cutest thing.
-How smooth the ride was, you really couldn't feel a thing.
-We got to watch them blow up the balloon, and Adam was able to help.
-That we actually rode on top of the water on a pond!
-That I was so, so excited for the breakfast after, the little babe and I had the munchies. Food is always on the brain!

They needed help when the balloon was landing so Adam got out of the basket and actually was lifted off the ground while helping!

The day we got engaged!

I'm so glad that you FINALLY got to go on the balloon ride. It looks like it was an incredible experience. That should be on my "Bucket List".

You don't know how jealous I am! I have wanted to go on a balloon ride for forever...I made Todd promise me we would do it sometime in our lives!
I'm not gonna be in town for your fairwell dinner with the work ladies, but when do you leave? I will be up on the 24th...

Andrea, that looks like so much picturesque fun. Hot air balloon rides must secretly be on every girl's wish list, cause I've always wanted to do it too! Yay that it finally worked out for you guys.

You're moving so soon! I'm kind of excited for you guys to be New Englanders. Beckstroms on both sides of Michigan... makes things feel more balanced. :) Can I come visit in the fall? Perhaps Thanksgiving?

What a fun experience. Where did you go? It is beautiful! I have always wanted to do that but I think I would also be a little nervous. I'm so much the nervous nellie since I've had kids.

It was so fun to see and Caroline at the shower. She is darling. I wish I could have talked to you longer.
