Surprise!

We like to keep things exciting here at the Beckstrom home and we had a little surprise yesterday... we are having a GIRL!! We are so excited for Caroline to have a baby sister to be buddies with, so as of now, we are having a girl. Stand by for Dec. 14th to see if that is true!

Also, the month has flown by and we move in 2 days! We have been filling every minute of our time and it has been a wonderful and fun filled month.

We have been enjoying this little one's every move and word:
"Mommy, I miss you. I love you. Mommy..(pause), you're my best friend."

Enjoying some relaxation at Bear Lake with friends. Caroline loved being around baby Madeline Rigby!
Camping with the Beckstroms up Big Cottonwood Canyon
Longtime favorite Indigo Girls concert with my sister Erika, and we also met up with friends Rach, Gretchen, and Garred.
Bees game with my fam
And packing, which I wouldn't say is the thing I like to do for fun, but it's been nice going through things. With most of our things packed, we are thinking it would be a lot simpler to live off of a lot less. Hopefully I can practice this great idea!!

See ya in New Hampshire!!

This little "baby B" egg was dyed close to when we found out we were pregnant. Adam's dad, Blake, made the blue egg, and maybe he knew something before we did because IT'S A BOY!!!

We are very lucky because my sister, Corinne, is a nurse at the U on Labor and Delivery, so we found out the exciting news a couple weeks ago. She loves us to come up and hear the little heartbeat and see our bouncing baby boy. Thanks Corinne!

After 4 years of trying, we finally were able to go on our Hot Air Balloon ride! For as long as I can remember I have wanted to go on a balloon ride. It seemed like an incredible thing to try, and like something out of a movie, which is always a good thing for me. Adam didn't know this and when we got engaged, he had actually planned to go on one, but the weather didn't cooperate (but it definitely didn't put a damper on the engagement day!) So we have tried several times to reschedule with the rain and wind stopping us each time. Luckily we were able to get it in before we leave for New Hampshire!
A few things that I was surprised by:
-my reaction to actually riding in a wicker basket...I was a bit nervous about that, but it really was the cutest thing.
-How smooth the ride was, you really couldn't feel a thing.
-We got to watch them blow up the balloon, and Adam was able to help.
-That we actually rode on top of the water on a pond!
-That I was so, so excited for the breakfast after, the little babe and I had the munchies. Food is always on the brain!

They needed help when the balloon was landing so Adam got out of the basket and actually was lifted off the ground while helping!

The day we got engaged!

Happy 4th! Once again, my favorite holiday lived up to it's name. We celebrated all weekend. On the 3rd we went BBQ'd at our cousin's home in North Salt Lake right on Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Everyone was there which is always a treat and the fireworks were fabulous.

From Yellowstone to Concord

The past week was crazy and yet so much fun! We took a trip with my family to Yellowstone. It was so great being together and Caroline couldn't get enough of her cousins! We came home from that trip, unpacked, went to the laundromat (washer and dryer being repaired), and packed for New Hampshire (to find a place to live!)to leave at 6am the next day.
Here are some of the highlight pics from Yellowstone, we saw so many animals!

Two cute little tots!
If you look close to the left of the moose is the baby
Fishing on Yellowstone Lake

Roasting dogs and making s'mores in our rustic cabins on Adam's Birthday!!

This cracks me up because Caroline would lay down and say, "Sleep" and then make snoring noises. The ladies behind me look very concerned that something troubling is going on. Nope, just my child taking a rest right in the middle of traffic.
