Mom's Choir Retirement

April 13th was a very special day for my mom. She has been singing with the Tabernacle Choir for the past 5 years and now it was time to retire. She loved every minute of being a part of the choir and we were so proud of her for achieving such a lifelong goal!! We went to the "Music and the Spoken Word" broadcast that morning, and then they honored the 12 retirees after. It was an incredible experience. And little did mom know, but we were all excited for the surprise party we threw that night!

Lunch with the girls

A bunch of girls from work got together conference weekend and went to lunch at Mimi's Cafe. I miss these hilarious girls so much and it was great to catch up. We also started doing a playdate with all of the kids too. There are about 8 kids ranging in age from 6 months to 3 years. It is so fun to see them all interact!

Easter festivities

Erin and Jon thought it would be cute to make Adam a personalized "Y" (BYU) egg after he snuck a UofU egg into Jon's Easter basket last year, but Adam was very cleaver as her turned the Y into a NY egg. Stickers on the face are an egg decorating tradition! So they are crosses...what can you do?

I am finally updating the blog...I am not very good with this whole thing. With two weeks left of school I have been focusing all of my attention on Caroline...and then that!

Easter was so much fun though! As you can see, Caroline really enjoyed herself and didn't even need help posing for her photo shoot. We had an egg hunt on Easter Sunday with the Beckstrom cousins..and Boston the bunny. He was hopping around the backyard as the kids hunted for the eggs. It was so cute because Hyrum (Superman in the pic) would come put candy in Caroline's basket. Have you ever heard of such a thing from a child?! We also dyed eggs that evening.

The next day we had the Winegar egg hunt which was so great. I think Luke (not shown in pic) was most excited about finding the golf ball that Clark put in one of the eggs.
